*Pfffeewww!* Another month flew by!!! This is my last submission as Guest Detective for April 2014. Thank you once again for the wonderful opportunity to design along with the most talented group of Detectives at CSI.

Although it was raining a lot whilst I visited my children, it was not raining the day we went to the Smuts House in Irene, so no umbrellas needed ;-)

Here is how I solved the case:

A little OOPSIE!! I did not notice that the umbrella charm came loose when I took the photo!! Well, I fixed it in the meantime as you will see in the close-ups

I used all the colours

Evidence:

Stripes – Striped PP
textured paper – Handmade paper painted blue and white
mixed media background – gesso, stencil, Dazzles
gesso - used
something sheer – The poodle’s frilly dress, ribbon behind the fence, the butterfly and the bow top left of LO
animal accents - Poodle
umbrella – Poodle with Umbrella, Umbrella charm
wet medium – gesso, craft paint, Dazzles, water soluble crayons and chalks
place something upside down – Birdhouse and Birdie
raindrop shapes – Berry Pins and drop-shaped pearls for a few flower centers
scribbles – Scribbled into the thick wet Gesso paste and 3 chipboard scribbles

All chipboard pieces are from Enmarc Crafts

Testimony:

I chose to write my journaling as a Haiku:

Majestic pine trees
The birds are singing up high
Dainty butterfly

I also wrote a little private message on the tag behind the photo frame.

Now for a few close-ups :
